About the Performance
Gather your fellowship and join the ASO and Art of the Score podcasters for an epic journey through Howard Shore’s music of Middle-earth.
The Lord of the Rings films feature some of the greatest scores ever composed, and this concert is your opportunity to immerse yourself in them like never before – led by conductor Nicholas Buc and unpacked by popular podcasters Art of the Score.
Experience the scale and emotional depth of Howard Shore’s score, as soprano Desiree Frahn’s voice soars alongside a massed choir, Young Adelaide Voices and the full power of the ASO.
Explore how this Academy Award-winning music brought Tolkien’s worlds to life. From Concerning Hobbits to The Bridge of Khazad-dûm and Lothlórien, Art of the Score and the ASO will take you there and back again.
We'd love to hear from you.
